What was amusing about Hugh's offerings was not so much those offerings, but the reaction to them by people who appeared to take it all too seriously.

Only met Banjo in real life once, but perhaps it might be his sense of humour - though I don't see him as having been anal enough to go to the trouble of digging up all that info on goalies from between the wars, etc

I believe it was Banjo who once asserted that some other poster was a hoax/ joke/ deliberately baiting account, but not in relation to Hugh. That charge might have been levelled at Nurse when she was going through one of her more vindictive phases - but not sure if my memory's really what it used to be...

I view myself as a decent person, try to do what's right and aim to be nice and kind to all people.

I also realise this is just a silly site where we all muck around from time to time, but I mean this most sincerely when I say I hope he is lying in excruciating pain somewhere, unable to use his limbs and praying for the day when death will release him from his misery.
